My client, manager and founder of Tint Tastic Hair Colours, Steven, does not currently have a business card and during one of our meetings I offered to make one for him as a bonus part of the package I was offering him (Advert, Banner .gif, leaflet and social network maintenance). He however said it was not necessary, as he did not have an interest for owning or distributing business cards. This is because, he said, his interested was only in promoting his business rather than his self, meaning that if the opportunity was to arise when he could offer out a business card then he would rather hand over a leaflet and be contacted via his website. That way people have no choice but to go through the Tint Tastic website and then have the opportunity to browse the site and possibly even make a purchase.

I did however create a business card to promote myself as a part of my own, personal, self-promotion rather that the Tint Tastic company.
